Sono disponibili diverse densità di spugna per soddisfare le esigenze di una varietà di procedure oftalmiche. Alcuni prodotti sono configurati utilizzando una spugna estremamente morbida e flessibile, mentre altri possiedono un materiale più denso che consente al chirurgo di spingere o dipingere i tessuti delicati.
