Our Story

First Aid Bandage Company also known as FABCO® was established in 1932 in Massachusetts and moved to Connecticut in 1992. The company is ISO 13485 and FDA registered and offers a family of superior disposable products supporting specialized, general medical and surgical needs.

All FABCO® cotton-based products solely use North American cotton. FABCO® sells a variety of specialty surgical single use devices and products including Ivalon ENT and Ophthalmic sponges, Neutec Neurological sponges, ORS (Operating Room Specialties) and Endostik Endoscopic Sponges.

Fabco was established in Massachusetts and began to manufacture FABCO Wrap

1992

The company is purchased and moved to Old Mystic, CT, with a newfound lasting dedication to serving customers through medical product manufacturing and distribution

2000

The company is purchased and moved to Old Mystic, CT, with a newfound lasting dedication to serving customers through medical product manufacturing and distribution

2002

Acquires Ivalon Surgical and Ophthalmic Products

2008

Company acquires Hydrasorb and begins to manufacture medical grade polyurethane hydrophilic foam

2011

David Wildstein becomes the second generation to run the family business and is appointed the President of Fabco

2023

Fabco acquires Omnia and moved their operations from Lakeland, Florida to the Dominican Republic
